| Grampians National Park (26 September 2005)
Grampians National Park is the third largest in Victoria. It’s spectacular scenery; colourful displays of wildflowers and wide range of opportunities for outdoor recreation have also made it one of the State’s most popular holiday destinations. The park is home to almost a third of Victoria’s plant species, and a large percentage of it’s animals. the park offer some of the best site seeing opportunities in the State, with a substantial network of roads and a convenient central base in the fully serviced township of Halls Gap. There are excellent short walks, some easy, others more demanding. away from Halls Gap many camp grounds have been developed in natural bush settings. There are also challenging day and overnight walks. Over two thirds of Aboriginal art sites in Victoria are here, and Aboriginal people continue their strong association with the area. Visit website for more details http://www.parkweb.vic.gov.au/1park_display.cfm?park=109

Photo taken at Gap Vineyard Wonderland Car Park Wonderland Car Park is well designed and maintained. There is no designated accessible toilet, but otherwise the facilities are good, including seating and shelter. The walking tracks, which are the main attraction for visitors to this site, are strenuous and involve some rock scrambling. This makes the walks poorly accessible for many people with a disability. Off-road wheelchairs are available from Brambuk the National Park & Cultural Centre.
Picture of Big Bro Sing getting annoyed!! Boroka Lookout The track to Boroka Lookout from the car park is sealed, and is 100 metres return. The view is highly recommended, and although there is a constant gradient, accessibility is good. This track is detailed in the "Wheelchair Accessible Tracks" booklet, available at the Grampians National Park Visitor Centre. Access to the toilets is poor, but the site is being modified. Off-road wheelchairs are available from Brambuk the National Park & Cultural Centre.

MacKenzie Falls The track to MacKenzie Falls is relatively inaccessible due to steep sections, but MacKenzie Falls Loop Walk is a wheelchair accessible track beginning at the car park and winding through the bush to a viewing platform overlooking the Falls. The picnic area has a kiosk, picnic benches and accessible toilets. Off-road wheelchairs are available from Brambuk the National Park & Cultural Centre.
